Construction feature:
1. Type LW pump is vertically installed with the inlet vertically downward and the outlet horizontally extending.
2. Pump foundation has two types: The single foundation and the double foundation. For single foundation, the pump and the motor is directly connected. While for double foundation, the pump and the motor are mounted respectively and connected by transmission shaft.

3. The axial thrust of pump is usually borne by motor. However, it can also be borne by pump checking bearing if required.
4. Pump is directly driven by motor through rigid coupling or flexible coupling.
5. Pump adopts anti-abrasive structure and wearable material which allow it to deliver muddy water with 15% sand. Pump adopts vice-vane to balance partial axial thrust of pump and consequently reduce the pressure to seal.

6. Shaft seal adopts packing seal. It can also be installed with stall seal if the pumping liquid contains mud and sand. Clean water will be poured into the guide bearing for lubrication.

7. Pump will be equipped with rolling bearing which is lubricated by grease or diluted oil.
8. The rotation of pump rotor is counter-clockwise if viewed from the motor side. Clockwise direction can also be attained if required.
